I have been active in the Arts and Entertainment industry for over 20 years. Previously, as the Creative Director/Curator of AVA Gallery in Davidson NC, I maintained a vision to create beauty, grow value, and inspire hope throughout North Carolina by connecting with the community and exhibiting fine art in a unique and refreshing manner.
Prior to moving to NC, I launched and operated New Creations, a business that, for seven years, sold original art throughout the US, Europe, Canada, Japan, China, Australia, and New Zealand.
In addition, I co-own Tradewind Studios, a music facility that has, for the past twelve years, composed original works for award-winning films, and academy award winning producers. I have also written, illustrated, and published two children’s books, in addition to creating vibrant, imaginative paintings.
My passion for the arts and storytelling has marked my life and remains a contagious force, driving me forward!

What draws me to art is its unique power to unlock me, moving me from my head to my heart. I consider myself more a storyteller than a painter, as that is my favorite art form. I love nuance. I love twists, turns, and even mistakes, because they add original value to every great story. It’s my love for storytelling that pulls me toward Impressionism and abstract work in particular, due to the imaginative, surprise elements I find therein.
