Do It Scared : With Rosa Murillo of Muro Jewelry

I had the absolute joy of sitting down with Rosa Murillo of Muro Jewelry for this conversation and what a gift it was. Rosa began her career in Mexico City as a senior designer for a large architectural firm, shaping the spaces people live and move in every day. But 24 years ago, she and her husband Ruben, made the courageous decision to come to the United States, stepping into the unknown and, ultimately, into her truest creative expression. Today, through Muro Jewelry, Rosa creates wearable art that carries both strength and her story. In this interview, she shares about keeping her sense of wonder, the resilience required to begin again, and models what it really looks like to “do it scared.” Her joy is tangible. Her courage is real. And her journey is a reminder that it’s never too late to pivot toward what’s calling you. I left inspired and I believe you will too. The poem referenced in this interview is “The Star” by Ernesto Cardenal.
